African Leadership on Healthy Diets
Objectives
To explore strategic approach of socio-technical bundling of innovations in addressing the food loss and waste, food safety, and access to nutrient-rich perishables in Africa, and facilitate actionable strategies for low and middle-income countries in Africa to implement and advocate for innovative food systems for nutrition solutions (technologies, processes, practices, policies, etc.)
Expected outcomes
- Strategic approach in identifying common challenges, barriers and collective solutions around food loss and waste, food safety, nutrition-focused food transformation in Africa.
- New connections and potential collaborations among participants.
