I am the current communications fellow at The International Livestock Research Institute as part of Princeton in Africa's Nexus fellowship cohort. A position I use to further storytelling initiatives around sustainable livestock practices. Prior to ILRI, I worked as a copywriter and production assistant at Radio Africa Group in Nairobi, where I created engaging and effective content for radio, social media, and web platforms. I also lent my voice to radio ads for top brands. I have a passion for storytelling and a flair for design and editing, using Adobe software such as Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism at United States International University - Africa, where I also hosted a rock radio show and reported news bulletins for USIU Radio. I have moderate working knowledge in Turkish and French, and I am fluent in English and Swahili.
