Rachael Muthoni Njoroge is a gender and development specialist passionate about advocating for gender equality, women’s empowerment, and the rights of vulnerable groups. 

She has skills in project management, training, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement in areas of gender and development. 

Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree at Kenyatta University as an ILRI graduate fellow. She is working on the “Go Heal Mastitis Project” to research how gender issues may impact the possible adoption of a bacteriophage-based veterinary product for the prevention and treatment of goat mastitis in Kenya.
