Naomi Mutie is a seasoned Public Health practitioner and Researcher at the Division of Environmental Health, Ministry of Health Headquarters. With expertise in waste management, pollution control, and the intersections of climate change and health, Naomi is also pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at Paris School of Business. She possesses a Master's degree in Community Health and Development and a post-graduate diploma in Health Service Management from the Galilee International Management Institute, Israel. In her dedicated service to the County Government of Machakos, Naomi held various significant roles including County Executive Committee Member for departments like Finance, Road & Transport, Water Environment, and Health & Emergency Service.
With over 25 years in public service, Naomi's rich experience also includes a two-year stint as a District Public Health Manager, overseeing public health service delivery, and an 8-year tenure as a Senior Lecturer at KMTC, focusing on subjects like research, demography, and community health.
