I am an Agro-ecologist, my proficiency is in sustainable intensive crop and  livestock production systems while considering soil health, carbon footprint, and animal health. I assess soil mediated chemical and biophysical processes and how they interact to influence agricultural productivity and environmental footprint, from agricultural lands, grazing lands, forests and other natural  landscapes through modelling, field and laboratory  studies. At the moment I am investigating livestock and manure management systems with aim of improving greenhouse gas inventories and mitigation and  improving soil fertility through improved and safe management practices. My research interest include; soil fertility and agronomy, greenhouse gas measurements and inventories, climate change mitigation and adaption.
