Gebermedihin Ambaw is a dedicated Research Officer at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), where he plays a vital role in advancing climate-smart agriculture (CSA) research interventions to address climate-related risks.
With over a decade of experience in research, teaching, and development, Gebermedihin has cultivated expertise in various disciplines. Before joining ILRI, he served as a Junior Researcher at the regional research center in Amhara, Ethiopia, and as an Assistant Lecturer at Jimma University.
His professional interests span soil science, agronomy, nematology, climate change, and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Gebermedihin holds an MSc in Agro- and Environmental Nematology from Ghent University, Belgium, and a BSc in Crop Production and Protection from Jimma University, Ethiopia.
