Gaius S. Vihowanou joined the Mazingara Centre as PhD Student fellow. His research is focus on mitigation and adaptation of greenhouses gases from livestock system in sub-Saharan Africa. His research includes developing new Emissions Factors (EFs) for African cattle to improve national greenhouses gases inventory using tier 2 method. He has the Master degree in Animal Science and Environment obtained at University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin Republic in 2022. Previously he worked as research associate with WG Animal Husbandry Benin on variability in agropastoral and pastoral of livestock system to improve productivity and farms income. He has open mind and welcome every step comes from others for self-improvement.
