One CGIAR has donated 120 million VND to help communities impacted by Typhoon Yagi, which recently caused widespread destruction in northern Vietnam. The storm flooded over 200,000 hectares of rice fields and devastated the livestock and aquaculture sectors, with millions of animals lost. One CGIAR's funds were presented to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) on 17 September 2024 at MARD office.

Additionally, the CGIAR One Health Initiative provided 100 million VND to Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen provinces for disinfectants and supplies, with student volunteers from Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry assisting in cleanup efforts. ICRAF also contributed 91 million VND to support 40 flood-affected households within its project areas.
