Thinh Nguyen joined the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Oct 2014 and is holding the position of Research Associate, under the Policies, Institutions and Livelihood (PIL) program. She is responsible for coordinating implementation of field activities in collaboration with local partners.
Thinh Nguyen holds an MSc in food and agricultural policies from Kyushu University, Japan and a Bachelor’s degree of engineering in Silviculture from Vietnam Forestry University. Prior to joining ILRI she worked as a researcher in the Center for Agricultural Policy under the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (2006-2011) and as an economist at Mekong Economics Ltd. (2013-2014).
