Innocent joined the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as Data Systems Management Specialist under the BUILD Uganda project on 12th March 2020. Prior to this appointment, Innocent worked at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) as the database manager for the Pan Africa Bean Research Alliance (PABRA) program where his role was to lead the data and digital systems development as well as support the function of monitoring and evaluation. He also worked at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) as the information systems officer for databases and applications for close to 3 years and Realtech systems limited where he had worked as a software engineer.
Innocent is currently pursuing a masters in business administration (MBA), has a masters in information technology with relevant industry certifications and PGD in project planning and management. His first degree is a bachelor’s of information technology from Makerere University Uganda in 2009.
