Daniel Alberts, MBA, has worked in development and in the private sector in the US, Colombia, Mozambique, and Kenya.  Prior to his appointment at ILRI, Alberts led a portfolio of work on supporting small-and medium-sized enterprises to produce and market nutritious foods at GAIN, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition.  Daniel’s background is in commercial horticulture, with a BSc in Plant Science from Cornell University and an MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society.  Daniel has worked in the US, Colombia, Kenya, and Mozambique.
